About The Role

We're looking for a Clinical Instructor to join our Occupational Health team in Aberdeen, on a full-time permanent basis.

This exciting role, will see you assist in the delivery of medical training to offshore medics and non-medical personnel at our Aberdeen training centre. Training is key to our growth as a business, so your knowledge and expertise will be critical in ensuring our services are delivered in accordance with stakeholder requirements.

What you will do:

  • Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions in accordance with Course Training Plans (CTP) and in accordance with the stipulated requirements of awarding bodies.
  • Design and review bespoke CTP, Lesson Plans (LP) and awarding body requirements alongside assisting in the creation of training packages to meet the needs of clients and students.
  • Ensure the delivery of practical competency assessments in accordance with CTP, LP and awarding body requirements.
  • Invigilate theoretical assessments in accordance with CTP, LP and awarding body requirements.
  • Ensure the quality control of training being delivered through participation in audits, and the review of data derived from training evaluations and competency assessments.

About you:

  • Varied clinical experience either in hospital or pre-hospital
  • Experienced in dealing with trauma and acutely unwell patients 
  • A registered nurse, paramedic or CMT level 1 with at least 3 years post registration experience
  • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Qualified Paramedic or CMT 1
  • You will be a strong team player, with the ability to deal with change
  • Have a willingness to learn and improve your practice, ensuring you are always customer focused. 
  • Hold a full UK driving license and car
  • Be willing to carry out occasional offsite work with potential to go offshore or overseas.
