As part of our growth here at TAC Healthcare Group, our Occupational Health business area have an exciting opening for a Registered Occupational Health Nurse.
The purpose of the role is to deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health Nursing Service in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice. You will be expected to work at our new TAC Occupational Health Clinic in Inverness.
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

What you will do:
- Perform specialist medicals (such as working at heights, confined space, night worker, lone worker medicals, driver medicals).
- Ensure that thorough clinical case notes are maintained for each patient and standards are meeting local policy and professional standards.
- Always ensure patient confidentiality, adhering to GDPR legislation, NMC ‘The Code’, General Medical Council/Faculty of Occupational Medicine guidance as applicable.
- Liaise case management stakeholders, such as client’s HR teams, in the management of sickness absence.
- Liaise with client’s HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) teams in the identification of risk and the development of risk prevention, control, or management strategies.
- Perform medicals such as industry standard medicals, pre-placement medicals, substance abuse screening.
About you:
- Experienced within a commercial OH environment, would be advantageous.
- Hold an Occupational Health Diploma or Degree, would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Current Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome Tier 3 Certificate
- Experience of undertaking Nurse Based OGUK medical
- Experienced in Audiometry and Spirometry
- Nursing and Midwifery Council Registered Nurse (Adult or Equivalent)
- Ability to travel and full UK driving licence
- Case management and health surveillance experience is essential, with proven ability to conduct face to face and telephone-based assessments.
