About The Role

We’re recruiting for a Management Accountant who stands out from the crowd: a bright and lively personality, but also meticulous, creative, collaborative and a real self-starter. You will forge strong commercial relationships across the business itself and externally too.

Day to day, the mainstay of this role will be based in Aberdeen and will report to our Commercial Finance Manager. There, you’ll be supporting our Aberdeen hubbed businesses, including a flourishing Occupational Health division.

As this role will require strong commercial business partnering, we’re looking for someone who is a natural when it comes to creating positive relationships. You’ll confidently influence key commercial decisions across the business, building credibility through being well informed, knowledgeable, and approachable. We see the business partnering element to this role as critical in driving our business forward.

You’ll accurately manage a challenging workload and some project work at any given time, so you’ll need to be flexible and resilient in your approach to deliver successful commercial outcomes. With a dynamic and engaging personality, you’ll also have a keen eye for detail to really “get” the commercial requirements of the business.

What you will do:

  • Actively engage with business leaders across the TAC Healthcare Group, developing a strong commercial partnering approach.
  • Support the overall business strategy through your commercial partnering activity.
  • Contribute the commercials to key projects, tenders, and business wins, including any financial modelling requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
  • Processing journals for the month end ensuring revenue and costs are accurately recognised in the correct period.
  • Preparation of the Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting Key account holders with providing financial information on contracts

About you:

It’s obvious that a working background in the healthcare industry would be highly beneficial for this role, but it’s by no means pre-requisite. We do require you to be:

  • Professionally qualified: we welcome applications from CIMA, ACCA, ICAS, ICEW or equivalent qualified candidates.
  • Bachelor of accounting/management accounting.
  • Experienced and demonstrably capable in the preparation of management accounts.

What's in it for you

  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Company Pension Scheme
  • Enhanced Annual Leave
  • Parental Leave (Various)
  • Onsite Parking
  • Employee Assistance Programme (for health, wellbeing and financial assistance)
  • Company Sick pay scheme
  • Enhanced Maternity leave
  • Family and Friends discount on TAC Services
