We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Commercial Business Partner to join our finance team and support the operational heart of our organisation. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior operational leaders - helping shape business strategy, drive financial performance, and ensure contract profitability. You'll use your financial expertise to influence key decisions, from investment planning to pricing models, always with a clear eye on delivering better services for our clients.
This is a full-time permanent role, working from our office in Aberdeen.
What You Will Do
As a Commercial Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role in driving performance and growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with the Senior Management Team to support strategic and operational goals.
- Providing financial insight into business decisions, including: bids, tenders, and investments.
- Delivering insightful monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Developing and tracking KPIs to measure business performance.
- Supporting pricing, costing, and investment evaluations to improve profitability.
- Leading the annual budget and planning process with operational teams.
- Mentoring non-financial colleagues to improve financial understanding across the business.
- Building strong internal relationships to foster collaboration and shared success.
- Identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and financial improvement.
- Leading, developing, and inspiring your finance team to deliver excellence.
About You

- Be a fully qualified accountant with strong commercial experience.
- Have a proven track record of partnering with senior operational leaders to drive results.

- Be confident translating complex financial data into meaningful actions.
- Possess strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems expertise.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Be a strong mentor and team leader who develops talent and inspires others.
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
